In 2007, Georgina Miranda, an adventurer at heart and committed leader in social responsibility, founded "Climb Take Action," a campaign dedicated to raising funds and awareness around the epidemic of rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where 20 years of relentless fighting has led to massive displacement and what is likely the most rampant epidemic of rape in the world. In her campaign, Georgina is climbing the seven summits, the highest mountain on each continent, including the highest in the world, Mount Everest. Funds raised through her campaign will go to support both International Medical Corps and VDAY, two organizations working in DRC to help women and children and stop the cycle of violence.
Georgina is currently a Management Consultant for the international business consultancy, McKinney Rogers, and has a diverse business background across various functions and industries. She has held roles in Fortune 100 companies such as Raytheon and Johnson and Johnson and currently advises clients such as Walmart and Bacardi in the areas of Strategy Execution and High Performing Team Development.

A Los Angeles native, Georgina now resides in San Francisco. She received a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
