Gia's career path has not exactly been what one would call
traditional. A teenage international athlete for Wales, she went on to
become a successful model, appearing both on the catwalk and in a host of magazines, worked on radio, and has been taught to DJ by none other than Creation Records founder, the one and only Alan McGee.

She's currently taking acting lessons and has already been cast in a role on the big screen in the film Just for the Record, starring Rik Mayall,
Danny Dyer, Frank Harper. She is the writer, producer and presenter for the online music show The
Independent Session. Interviewing the likes of Glasvegas, Alan Mcgee,
Steve Diggle, Tony Platt and Gail Porter amongst others. She also
produced, wrote and co-preseneted the pilot Flat Mouth with former
MTV's Dp Fitzgerald, featuring guests such as Howard Marks, Steve
Diggle and Jeff Leach.

Gia presented Extreme Brawl Cage Fighting for
The Active Channel in 2011 at The Mandaloy Hotel. With her extensive
knowledge of and passion for music, along with her background in
fashion, not to mention her stunning good looks and bubbly persona,
Gia would seem to be destined to be the next face of youth TV. Her
story is already a remarkable one but, like Gia herself, it is
anything but boring. To meet her is to be captivated. That's what her
audience feels, that's what her fans love...

It was a grey Monday morning - until I sat down with Paul Caister, founder of The Poor School, in King's Cross. The mischievous, witty, actor/director turned teacher, who wears his glasses on the end of his nose, is a true gentleman.

I wanted to know why, in 1986, Paul...

Irvine Welsh and the Freedom of a Blank Page

Irvine Welsh describes his younger self as "a tortured boy soul". However the tortured soul put Edinburgh on the map storming and shocking the literary world with his first novel 'Trainspotting'. In my opinion he couldn't have done it better if he had walked down the street with fireworks coming...

Sat in Shoreditch House I was waiting for Tracey Moberly to turn up, Author of Text-Me-Up! and co-owner of The Foundry, Artist and Activist. Then, the unmistakeable laughs of a Welsh Accent echo around the room. Tracey walks through the door, all Brigitte Bardot hair and skinny jeans, blazer and...
