GIna Pell is the former Chief Creative Officer at Joyus, the world's first premium video commerce platform that acquired Pell's company Splendora.com in 2011, an online style and culture publication read by millions of fashion insiders and aesthetes around the globe.

A closet computer geek with an uncanny fashion sense to suggest otherwise, Pell launched Splendora in 1999, years before style websites were ubiquitous. Splendora was ahead of its time and an innovator in the online fashion space. It was among the first sites to offer online/offline deals with local merchants in 2000 (a la Groupon) and to work with local businesses to market their services through reviews and events (a la Yelp). It also launched a social network in 2004 (same year as Facebook) and built and designed its first iPhone app in 2006.

An early internet pioneer, Gina directed teams of developers, writers, and designers in the multimedia space before creating award-winning educational websites and becoming a start-up consultant in 1997.

Pell graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley. She also completed the Fine Arts program at Pratt in Venice, Italy. Currently Gina is consulting with a select group of start ups and non-profits on product design, user experience, and social marketing.
