Giulia Melucci's first book, I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti, a memoir of food and failed relationships, will be published by Grand Central Publishing in April 2009. She is a former vice president of public relations for Harper's Magazine (not the fashion one, the smart one) and currently consults for Domino Magazine. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, where she still lives, but in a much more fashionable neighborhood.
