Daley, Fresh Off His "Cuckoo" Hit, Tours Chicago With Other One Word Snaps

Mayor Daley has been getting a lot press for his recent awwww snap! "Cuckoo" line directed toward Gov. Blagojevich, who said that the city is to blame for the potential CTA fare hike.

In fact, Daley and his team have been so excited regarding the praise of his ballyhooed one-worded comeback that they've taken similar approaches with other Chicago figures.

Here are some that were spoken this morning at different press conferences around Chicago.

Daley, on CTA President Ron Huberman getting his back over Blagojevich's accusation: "Boo-yah!"

Daley, on Carlos Zambrano's statement that he wishes the Cubs could have a new stadium: "Whaaaaaaaaaack-o."

Daley, on Jay Mariotti not joining the Tribune: "Rammalamma-dingdong."

Daley, on U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia saying the University of Chicago Law School has gone liberal: "Duh."

Daley, on Attorney Patrick Blanchard being named to be the watchdog over county political hiring and other illegal activity: "Bwuh?"

Daley, on Cook County Board President Todd Stroger who is calling for a yearlong moratorium on home foreclosures by lenders: No statement. (Just extended his index finger to the side of his head and moved it in circles.)

Daley, on Oprah Winfrey's upcoming show that details the extent and pervasiveness of child pornography trafficking in America: "Grody!"

Daley, on the aldermen who are refusing to give up the 6.2 increase in their annual salary: No statement. (Just extended his index finger under his chin and moved it from left to right.)
