After Nevada, Democratic Officials Risk a 'Fractured Convention' By Favoring Clinton Over Bernie Sanders

(47) Comments | Posted May 18, 2016 | 11:20 AM

According to CNN, "Many Democrats fear that if Sanders does not rein in his supporters, an ugly scene could take place at the DNC in July." However, it's Clinton, not Sanders, who must rein in her supporters. It's Bernie Sanders who...

Bernie Sanders Must Campaign Harder Than Ever and Expect to Win

(155) Comments | Posted May 16, 2016 | 8:57 AM

During my latest appearance on MSNBC, I explained that superedelegates exist to elect a candidate like Bernie Sanders, not Hillary Clinton. As stated by NPR, "Though they aren't bound by the results of primaries or caucuses, superdelegates will often throw their support to whomever they think...

Yes, Bernie Sanders Will Win the Contested Democratic Convention

(563) Comments | Posted May 11, 2016 | 11:22 AM

Bernie Sanders is ready for a contested Democratic convention, especially with the 1,430 pledged delegates that nobody at FiveThirtyEight, The Washington Post, or The New York Times imagined he'd have at this point. The same people who predicted Sanders would be done by March, are also...

Superdelegates Risk a Third Political Party if Bernie Sanders Isn't the Democratic Nominee

(552) Comments | Posted May 9, 2016 | 11:09 AM

During my latest appearances on CNN International, I called Donald Trump a buffoon. Twice. Although I don't want Trump or any Republican in the White House, there's an even greater concern for Democrats. The prospect of electing Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders will likely result in...

Romanian Hacker 'Guccifer' Just Gave Bernie Sanders the Democratic Nomination

(296) Comments | Posted May 6, 2016 | 8:25 AM

There's only one Democratic candidate not linked to an ongoing FBI investigation, and his name is Bernie Sanders. Vermont's Senator will become Democratic nominee for many reasons, but a cyber hacker named "Guccifer" just solidified the fact only one candidate can...

Hillary Clinton Should Concede to Bernie Sanders Before The FBI Reveals Its Findings

(1995) Comments | Posted May 4, 2016 | 9:38 AM

Millions of Democrats are voting for a presidential candidate linked to an FBI criminal investigation. These voters either don't know there's been a year-long FBI investigation of Clinton's emails, don't care, or would vote for Clinton even she faced Espionage Act indictments. Potentially our next Commander in Chief...

Democrats Must Rally Around Bernie Sanders Before Clinton Faces Possible Espionage Act Indictments

(336) Comments | Posted May 2, 2016 | 10:26 AM

Bernie Sanders will become Democratic nominee, primarily because Hillary Clinton is a brilliant individual, and far too intelligent to simply use a private server for "convenience." While a former U.S. attorney general has already made the case for Clinton indictments, every defense from "legal scholars" ignores...

The Case for Bernie Sanders Running as an Independent, If Clinton Is the Nominee

(499) Comments | Posted April 29, 2016 | 10:14 AM

For the record, I still believe Bernie Sanders will become president, especially since the FBI is conducting a criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and server. According to The Daily Banter recently, "She almost certainly isn't going to be indicted." This is about as reassuring as...

Dear FBI, the Democratic Party's Future Rests Upon Your Investigation of Clinton's Emails

To the Honorable James B. Comey, Jr. and all the good people at the Federal Bureau of Investigation,

The majority of the Democratic Party does not believe there is an ongoing FBI criminal investigation regarding Hillary Clinton's emails. They believe, as the former Secretary of State...

If Bernie Sanders Isn't Democratic Nominee, Don't Blame Bernie or Bust for Trump's Victory

(447) Comments | Posted April 25, 2016 | 10:04 AM

Why would Bernie or Bust voters risk a future with Donald Trump by refusing to vote for Hillary Clinton?

It's structural change Bernie or Bust wants; it's the status quo that Clinton voters want to uphold. I state the case for writing-in Bernie Sanders, if he isn't the Democratic nominee,...

Bernie Sanders Will Remain the True Democratic Front-Runner Until the FBI Finishes Its Investigation

(141) Comments | Posted April 20, 2016 | 10:53 AM

Bernie Sanders is the only Democratic candidate for president not linked to an FBI investigation. This used to mean something in American politics, but those days are gone. Today, I'm viewed as delusional, by the same people who think smart politics and qualifications entail endless scandals, poor decision-making on everything...

If Hillary Clinton Treated Jewish Americans Like She's Treated African Americans, Democrats Would Notice

(28) Comments | Posted April 13, 2016 | 10:53 AM

The premise of the title above has nothing to do with Israel, or any perception of political power possessed by Jewish Americans. Rather, it's a discussion of a double-standard that I see, as a Jewish American and political writer, between the use of racism, versus anti-Semitism, in American politics. In...
