Everybody Draws the Line Somewhere

This afternoon on MSNBC's Tucker, commentator Willie Geist, joining the parade of yakkers on the network in denouncing the LA Sheriff's decision to let Paris Hilton serve the remainder of her sentence on house arrest, harumphed: "This insults our intelligence." All the other years of Paris Hilton coverage, presumably, have complimented our intelligence, so one insult doesn't seem like too much to bear.
