I know it's tough, with AC on the other side of the world, but New Orleans hurtles, or crawls forward toward its reunion with the MSM on August 29. Remember the people, some white, most black, who were discouraged from escaping from the disaster over the Mississippi River bridge to Gretna--discouraged by gunfire from Gretna and bridge cops? The agency announced this week that it's not going to give $2000 in emergency spending money to disaster victims any more. The new figure: $500. That should solve the waste, fraud and abuse problem in DHS, coincidentally reported in today's Washington Post. If it sounds like blaming the victims for the errors of the agency, then you've named that tune.
