The Missing White Man
It's become almost a cliche of current media criticism that our news, especially cable "news", has become obsessed with missing-white-women stories. So, while Natalee Holloway shows continue to beguile the ratings homes, here's a story that has all the elements--celebrity, mystery, odd silence--of a cable news natural. Except for one thing: the missing person is a man. And there are no funny Dutch names to mangle.
