Hassan S. Ali has been the director and co-producer of Current TV's "Joe Gets..." and "What's Wrong With..." series since 2005. He is an alum of the University of Chicago where he was news editor of the Chicago Maroon student newspaper. In 2008, he and fellow UChicagoan Dorothee Royal-Hedinger launched "Fresh Cut," an online video magazine that captures a diverse cross-section of art, culture, news and commentary through the lens of new media.
