HeathCliff Rothman is a social entrepreneur and one-time national journalist. Five years ago, he founded an internet-based youth civic engagement initiative Film Your Issue, which has morphed into the What’s Your Issue Foundation, which runs both a film and song competition, as well as the Young Entrepreneur Network. The 2010 supporters include YouTube, Apple, Best Buy, Sony Pictures, American Red Cross, NAACP and others. The current roster of VIP Judges include Tom Brokaw, Jack Black, Yoko Ono, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the founders of YouTube, Wikipedia and Craigslist. As a journalist, HeathCliff chronicled culture and politics, profiling Artie Shaw, Meryl Streep, Mickey Spillane and others for Vanity Fair, O Oprah Magazine, the New York Times, GQ, USA TODAY and other publications.
