Heather Box is a writer and activist working to bring youth issues to the forefront of the political conversation all over the world. Her education from UC Santa Cruz in journalism and social economics laid the groundwork for her work as a social justice and political organizer. She has worked in the youth movements in Spain and Argentina organizing around issues of human rights, immigration and reparations for torture survivors. She now works in the U.S. youth movement as the Deputy Director of the League of Young Voters helping to organize young voters to solve the problems in their communities through civic engagement and issue advocacy.
