Heather Buchanan is a freelance writer based in the Hamptons best known for her column Kiss & Tell in the East Hampton Independent which won a New York Press Association Award for Best Humor Column. Described as “the girl next door, just funnier,” Heather chronicles the roller coaster ride of relationships from break up sex to dating tax deductions.

After earning a Masters Degree in Communications from Northwestern University and producing independent films in Los Angeles, she returned to her east coast roots where she covers everything from celebrities to high end real estate to cultural icons to chocolate breast mold recipes.

Along with her newspaper, magazine, and online work for Hamptons Magazine, Best Life, Fodor’s, and AOL Digital City, Heather also hosts a morning show for Plum TV which is kind of wild because she’s not at all a morning person. You can find more at HamptonsHeather.com.
