Before April of 2013, Heather was a typical working mother. She then decided to change careers and be a stay-at-home-mom to her 5-month-old daughter. Just two weeks after being home, her daughter started having seizures and was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. This disease left her infant with tumors on her brain and heart. She has now become an advocate for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and uses her personal blog, http://www.mytscprincess.com to help inspire, encourage and bring hope to others.

Dear (Not So Dear) Tuberous Sclerosis,

A letter to myself, pre-baby and pre-Tuberous Sclerosis Mom:

You have no clue what life has in store for you. Currently, your mind can only think of marriage, career, houses and where you will be going to dinner tonight. You think you love your husband right now, but you have...
