Henri J. Barkey is chair of the International Relations Department at Lehigh University. He served on the State Department's Policy Planning Staff (1998-2000).

Tara Sonenshine is a foreign policy consultant and served on the National Security Council under President Clinton in 1994 and, again, in 1997. They are both volunteers on the Obama campaign.

Leave it to Jon Stewart to get to the essence of this election. On The Daily Show he poked fun at vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, who Stewart pointed out "has something more valuable than experience with foreign policy...she has Wikipedia!"
