Hilary Farr, best known for her role as the tough-love designer and co-host of the Gemini-nominated show Love it or List it. A design sensation and expert who is credited as the first to “stage” properties for sale in Toronto, Farr understands the home design industry top to bottom with a knack for anticipating industry trends, a signature aesthetic and her larger-than-life personality. Love it or List it airs on W Network and in the United States on HGTV US. Farr is president of Hilary Farr Design, a thriving interior design business for private clients she founded more than 15 years ago. As a designer, Farr prides herself on her ability to relate to clients to design homes that combine timeless glamour and functionality. Farr grew up in, London, England, and travelled extensively before settling in Toronto. She has lived in Sydney, Australia, Los Angeles, California, and New York, honing her talent and skills working on properties in varied cosmopolitan cities. Farr continues to work on both sides of the border.
