From the Control Room -- the LGBT Presidential Forum

There is a saying in DC that everything's been said, but not everyone has said it yet. That may be how some feel about more blog entries on the LOGO/HRC LGBT Presidential Forum. I understand. Nonetheless, here is my take:

In the final few weeks the stress level was really increasing. Though we had been working on it for months, as soon as the Forum was publicly announced, the advice started coming fast and way too furious. Even when it sounded like carping and sniping though, we mostly took it as advice. The attention it was getting from within the community and on the blogosphere demonstrated that expectations were pretty high. My colleague Jim Fraenkel, the Executive Producer, was cool as a cucumber. The rest of us...not so much.
