Holly Kearl is the author of the forthcoming book Stop Street Harassment: Making Public Places Safe and Welcoming for Women (Praeger Publishers, August 2010). She runs the website Stop Street Harassment and a companion blog where people from around the world submit their street harassment stories. In her day job, she works as a program manager for AAUW, a national women’s organization located in Washington, DC. She received a master’s degree in public policy and women’s studies from George Washington University.
