Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Venus is poised to set your life on fire this summer, beginning June 14 when this amorous orb graces the spicy sign of Leo and your 5th House of Fun, Dating and Diversion. This transit is excellent for meeting someone new or re-establishing a sense of fun and excitement with a current partner. Throughout July, you'll enjoy doing ordinary, day-to-day activities with the one you love, but when Venus moves into partnership-oriented Libra and pushes you to define your "significant other" in early August, you'll push for a deeper commitment. After September 9, Venus' visit to your 8th House of Sex and Intimacy will give you lots to do ... behind closed doors.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
You might shock yourself with some of the dirty thoughts running through your mind this summer, as the rebellious planet Uranus hangs out in your 12th House of Unconscious Impulse. As far as you're concerned, anything goes, so be careful what you wish for! Your tendency to attract people who like to control things could manifest in wild outcomes with Uranus exciting your imagination. Let yourself go, by all means, but draw the line at behavior that's neither safe nor sane -- you could wake up with a whale of a hangover when this rebellious planet sneaks back into Pisces on August 13.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
You're nowhere near the scatterbrain many people make you out to be, so even with day-to-day distractions in place, you always dive in to summer love! And with Neptune spending its final summer in your 9th House of Expanding Horizons, you might be tempted to go much further than you really need to in order to capitalize on your romantic opportunities. Sure, maybe you don't have to jump onto a jet plane for some far-flung adventure, but if you've got the means, why not indulge your wanderlust? If monetary circumstances dictate something more sedate, you can always get lusty at your very own backyard barbecue. Especially around July 8, you could meet someone who really toasts your marshmallows.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Being born in the summer is more than enough reason to celebrate the hot weather with steamy love, so get started right away! The intense energy you'll feel when a chorus of planets start humming like a swarm of locusts in and around your 1st House of Personality and Self will make you uncharacteristically feisty and furious. Between the solstice on June 21 and the eclipse of the Sun on July 11, you'll determine who and what you want. On July 24, Jupiter multiplies your chances for romance by several factors, and come August 21 you'll get more serious and selective about your relationships, thanks to a stressful relationship between Saturn and Pluto. A sudden test can reveal how well you and your mate truly match.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Your sign is ruled by the Sun, so you don't need to be told twice how important it is to get your fair share of summer romance! In the summer of 2010, the struggle between yourself and others can feel rather intense, making June and July important times to ask yourself what's really important to you. Then, by the New Moon in your sign on August 9, you'll be ready to take action on an existing relationship or look out for someone new to love. Come August 24, the Full Moon in Pisces should enable you to open up to someone you can share your most intimate thoughts and feelings with.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
"Play" is the name of your game this summer, Virgo, as planetary power makes you almost obsessive about having fun. With Pluto camping out long term in your 5th House of Enjoyment and Casual Relationships, you can derive great pleasure from newer connections, not to mention relaxed moments with long-lasting loves. When everything else seems to be a mish-mash of upside-down and unpredictable events, knowing love is there is sure to keep you thinking about sunshine, rainbows and glasses half-full. But relationships aren't cheap, and on August 21 Saturn and Pluto will square off, potentially producing a rap on the knuckles that reminds you to stick to your budget -- especially when the best things in life are actually free!
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
As the sign of balance and partnerships, you're determined to have as much romance as all your friends have once the carefree summer months hit. During this rather intense year, though, you'll be called upon to decide what you want, and to do something about it. The action planet Mars will visit your 12th House of Unconscious Motivation in June and July, just before it plows into your sign for the rest of the summer. You'll be "hot" in more ways than one! Sexually, you'll be totally turned on and ready for action, but you won't settle for just anyone -- your partner will have to perform to your specifications! Be fair, and your sex life can turn into something truly excellent.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
This year, you may have to work harder than previous summers to find romantic warm-weather fun thanks to Jupiter and Uranus' move into your 6th House of Health and Daily Routines. The message here could be to appreciate what's right there in front of you. A second look at a person you see every day could put a different light on a potential partnership. Or, the one you share your life with could become more lively and interesting than ever! Retrograde action in late August and September could bring back a fun person or inspire a stunning event, particularly around September 18.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
It's a good thing you're a person of action, because your chances to jump on summer love will occur early on this year. The Sun's stay in Gemini for most of June will activate your 7th House of Partnership, creating a longing to fill your life with love and comfort. Be somewhat selective, sure, but Gemini supports variety, so remain open to all opportunities. Travel could bring love into your life with the New Moon in Leo occurring in your 9th House of Faraway Places on August 9. This isn't necessarily one of those flash-in-the-pan, mile-high club deals, though! Finally, the Full Moon on August 24 lights up your 4th House of Domestic Life to reveal just how much passion you're really able to take home with you.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
For some time now the planets have been putting pressure on you to improve your relationships, and this summer you'll really feel the heat. An eclipse of the Sun in your 7th House of Relationships on July 11 will be the moment of decision for you. If you haven't been behaving like a solid, giving partner, you may have to pay the price. With that possibility out there, then, it makes sense to push that pile of work aside and pay more attention to love, romance and all the things that make you tingle. The Sun's visit to your 8th House of Sex, beginning July 22, marks a great time to make a splash with your most passionate love interest!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
People might mistake your worldly individualism for a lack of interest in all things romantic, but that's simply not the way it is. This summer, the planets will be on your side as you prove to the world -- and yourself -- that you can forsake your "cool" act for hot amorous action. The love goddess Venus will get you started by entering your 7th House of Partnership on June 14. After July 10, you'll be ready to share your mind, body and soul with your lover when this lovely orb graces your 8th House of Sex, Intimacy and Mingling! A romantic vacation with the one you love would be a great way to top off the summer when Venus hits your 9th House of Adventure on August 6.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
You may already believe whole-heartedly that fairytales do come true, and this summer is a time to test this theory! Mercury is poised to spend the warmer months making every last effort to play out romantic prospects of the past, present and future. For the first part of the season, you can count on fun times while this planet of connections and communications moves through your 5th House of Fun and Games. Mercury then makes his way into Leo and your 6th House of Routines on July 9, forcing you to consider the real quality of your relationships. Conversations, now, will center around how much of yourself you're really sharing. And during Mercury's three-week retrograde period beginning July 28, a lover you might have given up on could suddenly resurface. Yet if you're already in a solid commitment, this is a time to resolve past issues and move on to a better, brighter and much happier future.
