Changing The Game In Congress

As Barack Obama puts away state after state, it's starting to dawn on the special interests behind the Bush Regime and the Republican Party that the only chance they have to cling on to power is through congressional obstruction. The GOP's shifting strategy and an alarmist editorial in today's Wall Street Journal says as much. Republican financiers are finished with McCain and they're pouring money into Senate and House races where they think they can stop the Democratic onslaught.

In an initiative with, Blue America is focusing on 10 Congressional races. We've done ads for exposing Dave Reichert (R-WA), David Dreier (R-CA), Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), Mean Jean Schmidt (R-OH), Robin Hayes (R-NC), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Scott Garrett (R-NJ), Charlie Dent (R-PA), Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) and Frank Wolf (R-VA). The Republican incumbents in these districts have deplorable records on progressive social issues, the war, health care and the economy. One of the most grotesque abuses of power, consistent with all these targeted 10 Republican incumbents, is there blatant association with the oil industry, which has helped finance their political careers, and their consistent voting record against renewable and clean energy legislation.
They are all Bush rubber stamps and they can all lose. Blue America and SaysMe.TV are offering a way to make a difference like never before -- by running ads ourselves on TV. You can choose the city, the ad, the network, and the time slot you want the ad to run, and for as little as $10 an ad in some cases -- with a minimum $100 total buy -- you can put it on TV and brand it in your name (it says PAID FOR BY "YOUR NAME") at the end. Click here and take the power out of the hands of the K Street consultants and corporations and bring it to the people with Blue America and Says Me.
