Arianna And Mary Matalin Discuss McChrystal, Gulf Oil Spill On 'The Joy Behar Show' (VIDEO)

Arianna and her "Both Sides Now" co-host Mary Matalin stopped by the Joy Behar Show" on Tuesday to talk about a number of hot issues, including General Stanley McChrystal being in trouble at the White House and what the country should do in Afghanistan regardless of if he keeps his job.

In the second segment, they moved on to recent news that the offshore drilling moratorium has been lifted by a judge, and continued to dissect Obama's response to the Gulf oil spill.

What in the world is Matalin talking about?
All of the oil companies have the same emergency plan.
Carbon Copies including images.
Saving the walruses and the phone number to a man that died in 2007.
Her husband is a consultant to BP, too.
Me think she is speaking from her pocket which holds money.
Thank you, Arianna for bringing up the fact that the judge lines his pockets with Transocean stock.

No screaming at one another, that was a plus and nobody screaming I wannnnnt muhhhh counnntry baaack while holding misspelled signs.
I won't be listening to them, I will however watch Joy's show.

If it wasn't for independent reporting like Rolling Stone, we'd never have known about this. Forget CNN, FOX, and the like. We need real reporting.

You know, back in the 70's in Chicago we would watch "Kupchek" (spell?) TV talk show. Around that time Mary Matalin and two other gals had a short running talk show of their own. We loved it! Don't recall the two other smart gals names......anyone recall - check your memory banks - something should come up.

Did either one of them bring up the fact that Al Gore is heavily invested in Occidental Petrolium, and George Soros is heavily invested in Petro-Bra(zil)? Petro-Bra is now needing Oil platforms to drill off shore to some 15000 feet.

Competition problems with BP perhaps? How would we ever know?

What does that have to do with ANYTHING? Everyone with a 401K is most likely invested in many oil companies. Have no idea what your point really is other than some bogus conspiracy theory. BP is a bad company and has a poor safety record - they caused their own problems.

These two have a very calming effect on me. Mary and Arianna respect one another. Something about their body lanuage conveys this. When Arianna informed Mary and Joy about the judge having stock in the oil industry, conflict of interest, it was so refreshing not to have to hear and endure a screaming match. Ahh. Intelligence and common sense prevails.
