I hope these "investigations" will start with the war crimes and illegal actions of the Bush Administration's build up to war. Too many lives have been lost by his reckless cowboy politics. Then I think we need to go back to Ronald Reagan's era and look into the S & L bailout again as well as the push for deregulation.

I simply and stunned by the stupidity of the people that would like this lumped on Obama. First, it was argued he didn't have enough "washington savy" now he is the blame for all that has not only gone wrong with government, but our whole economic structure as well. You can't have it both ways.

I know I know Rush people are in shock from going from a president that can't even speak a grammatically correct sentence, to one that will NOT speak until he understands a situation, is a stunning feat for every one to grasp.

Taleb and Kahnemann had a long discussion about the economy and how we get away from our gut reactions to the more rational part of our brain, and it takes information.

My question is how will that be edited and managed? If we use the example of the Biden girl story this morning, there is innuendo and nothing verifiable except that its innuendo and the cited sources are the NY Post and the NY News. This was preemptively published in my opinion. The fact that we can get it on the "air" instantly via internet compounds the problem...
We should have an open forum to discuss this, since this effort may well be the basis for many "investigative" startups.

Please investigate where and what are on the 9/11/01 Pentagon Surveillence Tapes. Investigate the victims roles, responsibilities, potential internal enemies, conflicts, scandals of those who were killed at the pentagon.


Or investigate If Obama has seen the tapes personally. If not, will he do so. Just ask him.

After her description of the new initiative, Arianna was critical of The President's efforts to correct our economic problems, basing her pronouncements on the opinions of several economists she trusts. She stated that our government bailouts are not transparent nor accountable. (Please excuse that I am speaking from memory and paraphrasing. - Don)

How can you form an informed opinion if the information is not available, i.e. there is "no transparency and no accountability?" How weakly reasoned is it to articulate her opinion based on others' opinions, all of which must, per her pronouncement about transparency, be uninformed by the facts?

She finished her comments by criticizing Larry Summers for appearing sleepy in public and the administration in general for being overworked and undermanned. This is the kind of insidious attack which serves no purpose other than to undermine public confidence. Not unexpectedly, one of the panel hosts chimed in with details about Larry Summers' dependence on Diet Coke.

When have we ever had a competent President and adminstration which was not overworked? Can we expect otherwise when we know that Treasury, Justice, State, and Homeland Security were in a shambles by the end of the Bush presidency? How silly can you get?
