"Newsflash: OTTAWA--Canadian officials called in Afghanistan's ambassador to express "deep concern" over a law that would make it illegal for Shiite women to refuse to have sex with their husbands. "

President Hamid Kharzai has bowed to Taliban elements who mostly comprise the Shiite population.and has just jeopardized all the progress which had been made to give Afghan women some semblance of equality by announcing a law which incredibly denies education to women, forces them to wear the hijab and forbids them to go outside without being accompanied by their husbands. The wording of this law includes such colourful passages as "a wife is bound to preen for her husband as and when he desires" and which critics have compared to legalized rape.

Again, unaccountably, Obama's only response has been that he does not wish to interfere in their domestic affairs. Such a disgusting turn of events should not be hushed up.

Government circles of all parties have been asking whether Canadian soldiers who are regularly killed by roadside bombs in Afghanistant should even be bothering to help scoundrels such as these thereby alread showing the first signs of deep cracks in any further attempts attroop allocations in that benighted country.

You and your lineup bring to CNBC network a credibility that otherwise is absent from the shows.
