Arianna you were splendid. Your chose the perfect look. You were poised and just a sight of perfection. Why you do not have your own show or cable network for that matter, is beyond me.
Arianna, thank you for mentioning the "child care crisis" twice in your final comments. I work with parents to advocate for increasing child care funding at the state and federal level. In California alone, over 200,000 eligible children are waiting to receive child care subsidies but because of the lack of political will, the funding remains woefully inadequate. In these dire economic times, we need to support working families, especially helping them to pay for child care. Some argue, don't have children if you can't afford it, and I hope that those sentiments are not shared by progressive Americans who read this site, but times are different today. Low-income working families are working more than one job and still cannot make ends meet. We should not have a term called "working poor," how can we live in America where working people can still be considered poor??!!!? Supporting child care supports the economy, support small business opportunities for child care providers, supports the development of our children in their future academic success. We all have a stake in this. Arianna, if you want to explore the child care crisis even more with your incredible analysis and understanding, please feel free to contact me! Thanks!
Great job, Arrianna! You got terrific guests to interview. And your interviews were very well conducted. But I have to admit, I want Rachel back!
Arrianna for Governor! lol! I think you are doing better as you are! Brian - Sacramento
Arianna was very gracious, articulate and well-prepared for her stint on Maddow. Great job. And I loved the hair style. Very flattering.
How would you like to be the desktop support tech for the Oval Office?
Is franklin_opt, talking to me? If yes, remember to click on Reply underneath my original post. Soooo Mackitsch. LOL!
Saw Arianna last night on Rachel Maddow's show and thought she did a great job. I am a Rachel fan but i have to say i wasn't disappointed last night. That being said - Arianna, what were you thinking asking "where are all the grandparents" when you were speaking about Mrs. Robinson moving into the White House? I loved seeing the lovely pix of your mom taking care of your daughter for you in past years while you (no doubt )were building a very succesful career for yourself. However, being a grandmother myself, and loving my grandchildren with all of my my heart and soul, I have to say that I have a very busy and fullfilling life working, socializing and enjoying time with my husband of 30 years. An occasional babysit is fine with us but a full time nanny/childcare job????? Why ? Times have changed since the days of the "old country" grandfolks just being happy to help out and lend stability to their children's families. You implied that Mrs. Robinson was perhaps too embarrased or shy to move into the white house. Perhaps Michelle's mother is just taking some time to consider whether she wants this huge responsility at this time in her life.
I agree with some of what you say, nonnalamb. Yes, grandparents should be able to make their own choices--and that includes Mrs. Robinson. It will be a big life change if she decides to live in that fish bowl, the White House. However, she will be living a life with heavy security from now on, wherever she is.
What I loved about that segment was Arianna's acknowledgment of the importance of grandparents to the security and happiness of their own children's families--helping, inspiring, and loving. It was a beautiful tribute to Arianna's own mother, and to all the grandmothers and grandfathers who have loved us and are responsible in a huge way for the people we become. I don't believe I've ever seen something like it before. Thank you, Arianna, for showing us your dear mother, and for praising her--and all like her.
Excellent job, Arianna!

Very unwise of Google CEO Eric Schmidt to suggest to the Obama team, "hoping / wishing" that the first Pres. with the intention to have a notebook placed on the Oval Office desk, should choose an Apple Mac.
Where does he think all those google "Hits" originate from? Apple Mac computers? I don't think so.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt should stop biting the hand (Windows) that's been feeding him for ages. It's soooo goooogle Ads! LOL!
Should 95% of all the world's dominating PCs just shut down? Crazy! Guuuugle Ads will surely dissapear too.
BTW, Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
I'm A PC! And proud of it!
In case you have never used a Mac, you should know that they are much less susceptible to viruses. I'm just saying...that can't be a bad thing if you are the President. (I use both.)
Wow, it's so refreshing to see intelligent, rational people on TV.
I'd like to see Arianna interview Stephen Baldwin. He said he'd move out of the country if Obama won, didn't he? Let's hold him to that promise.
Arrianna, Please don't fall in love with the camera too much!!! You are much needed in the medium we as fans have come to rely on for objectionable news reporting. My fear is that another c.n. network, or msnbc for that fact may see the number of viewers and mae you an offer Don't leave us Arianna and we won't leave you.
On another note regarding the dealings of Liebermann I'm standing on a soap box now, the Senate needs to admonish him for his traitorship nature and exclude him from any committe at this point. After all who does this man really represent? He so reminds me of Zell Miller (now campaigning for Saxy Chambliss here in GA), yet Zell Miller is always referred to as a Democrat (really a Dixiecrat). The South runs from that label but it is still at work down here. People have spoken so much about Alaska and the secessionist party up there, well if Georgia could secede from Union it would. After all remember it was the last state after the Civil War to go back to the Union. The Dixiecrats are still strong here they are not going anywhere. Remember this country put Martha Stewart in jail for insider trading, well they need to make a example of Lieberman that sends a message to the country, no spies or traitors allowed in Congress. To prosecute those in some way who betray their electorate is what is called for now!!!!
I don't think you mean "objectionable." "Objective," maybe. Big difference.
Very good. Ms Huffington improves the quality of political tv. It would help immeasurably were she to host her own Sunday programme on one of the network stations. She may not get the biggest audience, but in quality and raising public knowledge and judgement, America's politics would become more mature. It's candidates more serious, and its policies closer to considered.
Hi Arianna
Will you marry me ?
if she is busy i am available.
Good job Arianna. Definately entertaining. Watch out the folks at the GE networks NBC, MSNBC and CNBC. They would love to be able to use your influence to make them appear to be more people friendly.
The truth is MSNBC and the sister affiliates must stick their same talking points. They have much at stake. NBC, MSNBC, CNBC. NBC, MSNBC are a bit more benign than their CNBC sister but their overall approach during this current financial crisis is a bit troubling,
Considering that 60% of Americans are exposed to the market through 401k plans; why did CNBC continued to mislead individual investors while wealth fled to safety? Close monitoring of CNBC from October 2007 till now would be a huge story. Media Bias, influence peddling under the guise of financial news. What a powerful entity the ability to shape political and financial perceptions in direct contrast to reality.
Don't be deceived by their flattery. They have lost much journalistic integrity during this crisis. I have to rely exclusively on internet media to get accurate information. Good luck and keep up the good work.
