Arianna appeared on "Conan" Wednesday night to discuss a wide array of topics, including jeggings, divorced people stripping, and the current state of Internet news.

When host Conan O'Brien asked her why HuffPost doesn't charge its readers to see content, she replied, "People don't like paying for news and opinion...unless it's financial stuff or very, very weird porn."

I have been a fan of Arianna for about 3 years. I think she is engaging, down to earth and "spot on" with most issues. The team she has assembled at her Huffington Post is terrific. I look forward to watching them grow and progress. I hope Arianna's media influence can help change Washington politics and in turn help all Americans regain the American Dream.

Granted, these are two of my media favs here, but I have to say I really appreciate how AH represents herself and her enterprise. She really does exude class, and fun, and authority. Conan just brings the jeggins' and that's pretty good when so much Tee Vee is bad.

Great segment. One of the things that stood out for me was how normal and natural Arianna is. I mean, compare her to those shreaking right wing ladies . . like Coulter. Could Ann unwind herself down to being a simple, normal, laughing and joyful person as Arianna showed herself to be in that clip? Even whiney, victim Palin, always shrieking about who's the one wronging her now. I bet Tod is relieved she's in public now because now it's other people who are wronging her and he doesn't have to bear the brunt of always being the one to blame for everything that goes wrong. Those right wing ladies . . . they're all so rigid and stiff and controlled and contrived. This was refreshing . .. sitting there having a normal, everyday conversation. . . . great!

I haven't seen the new Conan show but if he is letting the guests actually talk for a change I may give it a try.

Ms. Huffington is lovely on Conan; she mentions the new divorce section of HuffPo and the issues we all face. Top of her list, getting naked after a divorce. Guess who happened to touch on that very topic this week? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ginger-emas/the-bare-naked-truth-abou_b_792464.html

Arianna,

Every time I hear you speak - regardless of the topic - I am increasingly impressed. You are not only so intelligent, but wise, funny and progressive. Great combo. Carrying those three Blackberries has served you well!

I'm honored to be a writer for your new divorce section.

Thank you for paving the way to a better future!

Yes, yes, and I was so glad to read about you not wasting your time at the White House
reception for the press by cutting in front of hundreds of other reporter waiting to greet the Prez and First Lady. Remember, standing in lines is for little people.

Why is Conan so bad? He is no Leno.

Arianna was wonderful on Conan last night. Conan seems to be revitalized in the new show, as well. I had never heard of jeggings, but what can you expect from a straight, white boy? As for the content of their discussion, I was intrigued by the portion that indicated that divorcees have nowhere to go to chat about their trial and triumphs. Hmm, a new market for the divorced entrepreneur?

Very engaging and came off very well in this interview. One her best to be sure I've seen.

As far as the comment about the comment on the government treating saving and creating jobs as seriously as they did about saving Wall St. I believe it is more a matter of what the government understands they can do and how things work in the economy. With Wall St. they and investors were a beneficiary of bolstering/saving the banks and financial system itself from crashing further. Wall St. is very good about capitalizing and they did. Deals that were struck had loopholes that could make any of us insensed and angry but if the flow of credit wasn't insured things would have gotten worse and Wall St. would have survived and capitalized in some way.

As for jobs and the middle class we need to wake up and work with business to do what is necessary to grow and develop future jobs. The dot com bubble, housing bubble, etc are realities and we can't just expect business to constantly expand without contraction. The middle class is getting squeezed badly here and we do need to compete in a more wold wide manner for our middle class to prosper. We didn't used to have to compete with Europe, Brazil,Asia to this degree and now we all do.

The message of your first full paragraph seems to be "do what ever we have to do out of the ordinary with taxpayer money to save/support Wall Street," while the message of the second is "let businesses proceed in whatever ways they wish." Can't have it both ways. If they're gonna create the bubbles that have broad and wide effects on the economy, either bear the full brunt of their aftermaths, or accept regulation against the excessive greed. And I hold that view primarily on something as fundamental as housing. I could care less about the dot com episode as it was nowhere near as far reaching as the housing downturn has been.

I think she was trying to say that people won't pay for "content" unless it's either financial or porn. I can't say I like that, but it's actually very correct.
