In an interview at Business Insider's IGNITION: The Future of Media conference last week, Arianna denounced Fox News as a legitimate source of journalism.

Describing Glenn Beck's show as "pure, unadulterated fantasy," she suggested the network enjoys its success because it abandons facts in exchange for entertainment. "It's surrealistic...it's Dadaism...and it's much easier to be profitable if you are not news," she said.

Arianna went on to discuss the importance of journalistic objectivity and earning readers' trust, saying, "It doesn't matter if you're on the left or on the right. It's about facts."

Check out interview highlights below, including Arianna's goals as the "spiritual leader of The Huffington Post" and whether she regrets not merging with Newsweek.
