I do not believe that Obama is as unaware or stupid as Spitzer and Arriana are claiming.
My guess is that there is a fundamental strategic decision to let things alone for now until we get stabilised.
It is the only thing that explains matters in apositive way.
Let's all hope I'm right and keep their feet to the fire at least as far as loan modifications and so on go.
I heard there have now been three successful loan modification which is a 300% improvement over two months ago...
sigh

Well, yes and no, on the incompetency - those in the sec are as giddy as Neel Kashkari explaining his career - of crony capitalism. Those in the sec or office of thrift or all the rest want to get in on the action.
Neel Kashkari ask him about his career - giddy little kid.

Dylan Ratigan may be the show to watch in turning this country around. Elliott Spitzer is the first commentator to weigh into the Obama pandering to the banks while ignoring the plight of the unemployed. And Arianna Huffington seconded Spitzer's criticism with the complaint that Obama et al have been rewarding bankers, many whom should be going to jail, instead of providing opportunity for Americans.
Ratigan's show is a good beginning to telling the truth from the basis of our Constitution rather than from the basis of fraud and dishonest performers.

I watch this dylan character on the Ed show the other day and I think he is no different the Joe Scarbrough. Just another right wing tool. He said on the Ed show that everybody can't have great health care and nor should we even attempt to give it to them. Needless to say my mouth drop open. Another rich, self center, entitled white guy that thinks he got all the answers. I guess what he is saying is as long as he got quality health care fvck the rest of us. If it wasn't for rachel I wouldn't even watch MSNBC aka fox lite. So dylan, perfect name for this pasty tool, don't ever have to worry about me watching his show, I rather walk through fire with gasoline panties on.

WOW! It is great to have Dylan Ratigan back on the air. He is such a bright and articulate scholar of business and finance and can explain the most complicated concepts in a very clear and direct manner. He was super at Bloomberg and outstanding at CNBC. I wish MSNBC put him on after Keith and Rachel in the evening!

And to have Arianna and Spitzer on his show was really outstanding. I hope they become regulars with Dylan. They tell it like it is and hold nothing back.

Dylan's excitement about these issues clearly exceeds the usual seen on a media discussion of economic and financial issues because he really understands these complicated issues unlike most hosts. Ratigan knows how BAD things were and the craziness that allowed them to evolve and how TERRIBLE things may get if we do not change things dramatically. I am a big fan and will continue to watch his show.

Good luck with your new show Dylan you are the right guy, in the right place, at a very crucial time in our countries history, where you might be able to bring about the changes that will bring honesty and fairness to Wall Street and Washington.

We have taken on the mantel of a third world country because of the continuation of the unregulated shenanigans that the rest of the press has been passing off to us as financial engineering that will improve our lot.

It was appropriate for Eliot Spitzer to be involved with the kickoff for Dylan’s new show.

President Obama said that after the financial crisis was stabilized there would be plenty of time to go after the people who created the problems.

In my opinion the President had the order backwards, his first order should have been to appoint Elliot Spitzer to head a new agency of untouchables to sort out the good and bad guys, and clean up the financial and regulatory mess.

Do your journalist stuff Dylan our country needs you.

Dylan was, judging by this clip, a little hyper this morning, but he'll be alright.
He exhibited a sense of humor while he moderated Fast Money on CNBC several months back, and I don't get the impression he's a toady for the Wall Street crowd or financial industry as so many of the folks on that channel were/are.
Give him a chance, he may yet turn out to be one of the stalwarts along with Keith and Rachel.

Who are these people anyway and why on Earth have they been awarded with their own show? That Dylan man is loud, rude and obnoxious. He constantly cuts his guests off and has very little personality. After about 20 minutes, I just turned the channel. Where is Norah and Monica and Lawrence...I love them?!

And people wonder why FOX News' ratings are soaring? CNN is a trainwreck and now MSNBC seems to be trying it's best to follow in their footsteps. MSNBC has driven me away on the weekends and now they have driven me away during the day. Lord help them if they ever lose Keith, Rachel, Ed or Chris!

Yes, Beck/Hannity and Orally are such gentleman! Give me a break, that's their whole schtick and Fox loves it because it brings in the low IQ bunch!
