Arianna went on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" to respond to a White House official's statement criticizing labor for wasting its money on Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, who narrowly lost in Tuesday's Arkansas senate primary against incumbent Sen. Blanche Lincoln.

"For the White House to come out and take the stick and poke it in the eye of labor... do you think that's fair, or is that an overstatement?" asked host Ed Schultz.

"I think it's definitely an overstatement," responded Arianna. "And worse than that, it really goes against exactly what we need to be doing, which is holding politicians accountable."
