Arianna appeared with Chuck Norris and Ari Fleischer on "Larry King" Wednesday night to discuss the presidential race. When the subject turned to Iraq, Arianna and Chuck began a heated debate.

Chuck Norris and the rest of the Republicans still believe that our foreign policy is "because we said so". Continuing the theme from this administration, McCain's "Bomb, bomb, Iran" skit he did earlier this year , coupled with his outrage at the thought of sitting down to talk to heads of state with whom we are in conflict, demonstrates he can't imagine a disagreement gunpower wouldn't solve. We have the biggest guns - what we need is some thinking outside of our culture, and learning that the rest of the world has viewpoints we need to hear. If McCain wins, how long before he proposes a draft to continue the Bush war machine? All you young men and women out there, think about your futures.

I've watched this multiple times. I now have a "love to hate" attitude towards Chuck Norris. He makes it sound like he's done 2 tours of duty like the soldiers. I'm sick of politicians and in this case a washed up celebrity telling us they talked to the troops and they want to stay there until the job is done. Give me a break. Just because you went on a dog and pony show does not mean a thing. That's the definition of dog and pony show, and the military can put on a show. I know... I was in the army.

It's not really the decision of "the troops" whether to stay, it's the choice of civilian leaders and in turn the citizens. Once the citizens replace the current "leaders", the troops will come home.

If we all paid a war payment every month (like a cable or electric bill), how long would this war go on? Probably one billing cycle. The ladies on the View questoned CIndy in that appearance on Friday with John on The VIew, how many houses DO they own..SHe told them it was NO ONES BIZ and that due to the hardwork of her parents THEY, she and John and the family enjoy the fruits but wanted all to know they give charitibly as well to others. Kept thinking what charities could benefit JUST from the cost of her convention wardrobe or her campaign trail wardrobe expenditures but so glad she and John NOT considered "elite " especially with some like the Obama's who in their Forties finally paid off their student loans just due in part to early employment at low wage occupations that served back to the communty rather than just take advantage of offers that were far more monetarily oriented that could have rewarded them both quite lucratively so that too could own more than one house and get a wardrobe elsewhere than Target.

Senator McCain back in the mid-1970's refused to investigate the many reports of sighting of our Vets that were POW & MIA in Vietnam, Sly Stallone first (Rambo) and then Chuck Norris in protest, made several films about going back to Vietnam to free our POW.
