Chuck doesn't know what the...."........": he's talking about. The majority of the soldiers want to end the war in Iraq, or kill bin laden in his cave, and come home. My son in law was one of them that agreed with bringing the soldiers back, but died in Iraq, like thousands of other brave soldiers have. This is one more reason that I am voting for Obama, perhaps lives would have been saved.

nglina,

My condolences for the loss of your son in law serving his country. It is the hero that goes into service with reservations *but still does his job* that is the one that deserves the greatest accolade.

There is no 'ctrl' button on Chuck Norris's computer. Chuck Norris is always in control.

I also think he bullies his wife. This guy is vicious. I think he is still bitter about Bruce Lee beating the crap out of him.

If Norris knows so much about what the soldiers in Iraq want than why are the solders donating 6 to 1 in favor of Obama?? BECAUSE they want to come home!

Why dont Chuck and John McCain make their own war movie? That would keep Johnny busy and out of the white house. Sarah could return to star in Survivor: Wasilla - The Legal Years.....

where'd you get ur info from? the left wings, i'm sure! As far as the soldiers go, they volunteer to serve. No one twists their arm. They all decided, individually, to defend our country no matter what.

Rightwingwinner (that's a laugh), I've been with the military (married to a 29 year volunteer) and the sea change has arrived and Chuck is full of beans. The fact is our troops are sick of being deployed and they're sick of the "finish the job" rhetoric too. I knew an intelligence man in '04 at Landstuhl who spelled out the mess downrange and the dedication of most of the troops to see it through. When you're a soldier in the zone you support the orders given, period. But even in '04 there was considerable unrest. By early '07 the result of the Sunni's stepping up to fight against out of country invaders was starting to take the pressure off those troops. Today things are better but far from great with an Iraqi government in gridlock. Why should our people continue to die, much less defend a government that's had more time than post WW2 Europe to get it's act together and why should my kids have to pay for it?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:06 PM on 09/12/2008

Did you serve? Nope! You wave the flag while you let others die for your stock portfolio.
No one is defending America in Iraq. All they are doing in Iraq is making sure that Haliburton stock keeps going up. Iraq is just of vehicle of converting public money to private money while everyone is watching. Just like the shell game. Can you tell where the public tax money went?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:41 AM on 09/13/2008

Yeah, notice how he first says he talked to EVERYONE over there and they want to finish the job, and then he says he's talked to ALL THE COMMANDERS over there. Seems that Chuck NOrris suscribes to the Sarah Palin school of truth by omission. Leave out part of the facts and you're good to go! Too bad no one asked him how many of the troops he spoke to away from their commanders about whether they want to stay and "finish" the job.

We hear about sexism, and media favoritism, but none want to talk about the blatant racism that still exists in this country. As the only Black person at this law firm, I'm very interested in finding out about how people feel about this election, so I often have my female friend ask our co-workers about who they're pulling for. The law firm I work for handles foreclosures throughout the state of Florida, they know about Bushenomics, but none can vote for Obama. We're in St. Petersburg, FL mind you. This is all fact....Now out of 8 people we asked, (7 white women, 1 white man) only the man said he's voting for Barack, and he's a Republican. And out of the 7 white women, none of them are crazy about McCain or Palin but they all have said they cannot vote for Barack. When asked why, the answers we've gotten have been enlightening. One said, "I heard Barack voted to change the the USA's official language to something other than English." WOW!!! The next woman says I'm not a Republican but I know I'm not voting for Barack because he wants to teach young children about sexual intercourse. The next woman said, "he isn't smart enough to run this country." Now, when asked about McCain, NOT ONE OF THEM COULD OFFER US ONE, SINGLE THING ABOUT HIS POLICIES OR HIS CHARACTER THAT THEY LIKED OR ADMIRED. Tell me y they won't vote for Barack.

I am not black & I am Woman! I completly aggree with you no want wants to say racism exists. Thats the only reason Obama will lose.
There is so much prejudice & ingnorance that i just can't stomach it anymore.
Well you know what I am not giving up I am going to continue to be at voter registrations & make sure my voice is heard!

I know thats what they want us to do is to give in to their hatred well you know what I' m not !
Vote Obama for President 08!!!!

Serious, DPFROMTEXAS,

Between the media (CNN and ABC love PALIN's dirty knickers) and these morons talking about "well, I am voting for McCain in protest" (D-U-M-M-Y), I feel like I went to sleep a few weeks ago and just never woke up. I know other countries are looking and listening to Palin NOT know her own parties policies and her foolish rants about "He can save the environment if he wants too...." and say "Wow, I thought Bush was the only dumb one...they're all stupid".

Is it the TV? Is it McDONALDS? Is it the WATER? (Well, fluoride does keep the brain numb).
What is making the Amerikan public so damn stupid?

I guess working in a law firm means you don't have to be intelligent or have any common sense? It's scary! I'm a white, female boomer, and O is my candidate. He has been since the 2004 convention speech. It is so sad that so many people would rather cut off their nose to spite their face than vote for their own best interests just because O is black. What pitiful human beings! Ignorance is our downfall!

This seems like a really bad joke. Chuck Norris is not qualified to speak in this capacity about anything remotely political. He is nothing but a violent movie c-list actor and garners no credibility on this subject. He is the cheesiest of the cheese even in his own circles. He isn't fit to stoop down and tie Arianna's shoes. But one does have to remember this is Larry King. And Arianna I applaude you for being the intelligent informed woman that you are and for allowing someone like Mr. Norris the chance to debate his obviously inferior point of view with some one who is clearly his intellectual superior. You have always been fair in this regard. In addition I truly enjoyed your speech on Ethics in Politics in Monterey Monday. I've listed to you for years On LRC and you have never failed to teach and inform me. Keep up the good work. We ARE listening.

Why is when a Democrat wants to discuss and debate over real life issues, Republicans would rather talk and scream over them? That is a very telling sign when one does that, it means that they really have no answers or solutions for the problems real people face. As I watch the political coverage every night, I realize that so much bull*hit is allowed to go on. I watch all the cable networks, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and my local news channel and they spent a day and a half talking about lipstick. The rest of the world must be rolling on the floor laughing about this. Why is it that he rest of the world can see that Barack is by NO SMALL margin the better choice but yet people still are unsure as to who to vote for? This is so sad. It's no wonder why we are in the dire straits we are in now. The Republicans are great at fooling the majority of people. Like Kucinich said, WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!

i fully concur. he's just a washed up has-been running on fumes. A lousy actor who never got over the fame Bruce Lee commanded. If he were on the Titanic he would be the first off. He is for Mccain because he does not want to pay increase taxes. Another Charton Heston and Arnold. Hey, Chuck... . Bruce Lee! Bruce Lee! Bruce Lee!

How in the world did Chuck Norris get the credibility? Why is he on TV speaking about these issues? This is so absurd. It's like a really bad movie.

The only qualification to be a conservative pundit is to have a recognizable name. Who the hell is Tucker Carlson, where did he come from, and what makes him an authority on anything? See what I mean?

What a blurry mess of hot-headed type A blathering.
He never even realized how pathetic he looked.

Bravo, Arianna!! This is what happens when you dare to awaken the blind faithful
from their delusionary slumber. Change the subject, keep sleep-talking so to obscure
the topic at hand.

Mr.Norris should just go Chuck himself.

It never ceases to amaze me that philosophers, scholars, and writers in droves write about the current fleecing of our constitution our nation, and of the American middle class.

All the while conservatives continue to flock to right wing evangelists, tabloid pundits and GOP theology!

Conservatism is a dismal failure, the proof is in your house equity, your bank accounts, your paycheck, it’s on Wallstreet, its on the shelves of your supermarket, its on the corner gas station, its in Arlington,
on the streets and deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan.

It’s in the defiance of Pakistan, Russia, Venezuela and now China!

And so the same old personal song and dance about character, vision and dignity play out across the nation. “Bush has character, he has vision, he is honest, experienced!” We all know the truth of this aberration.

We all know conservatives want to plug in the same theology the same ideology from yet another legislator that represents the betrayal, the greed and the duplicity that has buried us to this point!

Great nations are upheld and wars are won or lost by the rightness and decency of the participants!
As our nations history goes we have never lost a war when we were right but now we have lost wars because we were ideologically wrong!
It’s not just about strength its about wisdom and justice.
Such American qualities that have been inactive during the past seven plus years due to conservative politics!

Republicans are always quick to to insult anyone from Hollywood, all of those 'stupid liberals' but somehow all of the D-Lister's that have time to go on the campaign with them ,they are just honest, christian do gooders. Like Chuck, taking all that time away from his infomercial career. Always making sure he and his botox wife were in the frame. Wow, he did 2 tours in Iraq? Tour as in tourist, Chuck, or tour as in a soldier that can't go home. Face it buddy, the only show your in is the Sister Sarah Palin Salvation Show...where anything goes, hallelujah.
