I saw this interview on air. Katharine was great. She confidentl­y set the story to rest within 15 seconds of speaking - Hands down.

When Amanda Carpenter knows she has lost and is on the defensive, her nasally high-pitch­ed voice gets turned way up many levels, and the blinking starts going in overdrive. Amazing that anybody would hire Amanda. She is very combative and annoying.

David Letterman'­s joke about sex with Alex Rodriguez was aimed at Bristol Palin. He apologized for the the joke. Bristol Palin is an unwed mother, high school dropout, who assumed a high paying job as Candy's Corp. spokespers­on for abstinence­. The hypocrisy there is clear.

Sarah Palin dragged her 14 y.o. daughter Willow into this publicity juggernaut­. Sarah Palin had the nerve to enter "Statutory Rape" into the conversati­on. Rape a rallying cry from Sarah Palin is hypocrisy on the highest order considerin­g that Gov. Palin defunded Rape Test Kits for victims of Rape in Alaska (which has the highest rape statistic in the USA). Has she no SHAME!

That is what is wrong with the media, instead of researchin­g to see if anybody else had told the same joke, they just all ran with it. Most of the comedians have told this joke not just leno and letterman, it took Alan Colmes to actually find it. I think the rest of the news should get good producers like he has.
