Ron Christie talks loud making no sense at all ,he never shuts up and must be cut off. This is a very irritating person. Another Buchannan

Please leave Ron Christie alone. If he ever figures out that his interviews are the best thing that ever happened to the Democrats he might not show up. He just doesn't get it that he's on the air to bolster the idea of how stupid the Republicans really are. Thank you CNN and MSNBC for having the insight to bless us with this secret Democratic weapon.

When Christie first appeared on CNN, I wondered where he came from. My sense is that the media NEEDED a black man to bring out to speak against President Obama on various issues. He seemingly just appeared on the scene with GOP talking points. As an African-American female I resented the fact that the media (especially CNN) felt the need to do that. ( The good thing is that he now appears on TV with his glasses....before that, you couldn't tell which way he was looking. Jimmy Kimble did a spoof on him.)

as a black man i agree 100%. the kimble spoof is HILARIOUS

Maria Teresa from "Voto Latina" is a joke when it comes to Chicano/Hispano/Latino she does know crap
de la raza here in the sourthwest or the west. She is no mirror on us, she is a joke! She is taken the opportunity on our issues, she should go back to her beloved Colombia.

Christie is almost cartoon-like in his mechanical, dispassionate recitation of right-wing talking points... a farcical apologist. His affect suggests he was ab duc ted and "retrained" at C Street.

StillAmused offers tthe best description of Ron Christie I've read or heard. It must have taken a long time for the Republicans to find and train this man to be the automaton he has become. He is as close to an outer space alien as exists on cable talk shows or elsewhere for that matter. It does not seem that he is human. I'd welcome any backgound information which is out there on Ron Christie.

Folks, something is wrong when the Dems get upset that our President do not use today's memorial for a platform to push Healthcare reform message again - this is Teddy's day not Healthcare day! Obama is "darn" if he does and "darn" if he don't what a shame!

The United States is a better place to live in because of Sen. Edward M.Kennedy may he rest in peace!

This was not the day for that. I think that would have been very tacky. It will be brought up repeatedly in the upcoming weeks and months, guaranteed.

Thanks, Teddy...

It was great to see Dubya and wife sitting alone, nobody entering their "zone" until forced to by seating arrangements... the look on his face was worth watching, the discomfort obvious. He had no place at a gathering to celebrate a man like Teddy Kennedy...

Can anyone think of a republican (besides Abraham Lincoln) who dedicated their career to helping people? No, it wasn't meant to be a joke.
05:16 AM on 08/30/2009
Theodore Roosevelt wasn't too bad.

Since the death of Rep. Jack Kemp, I can't think of a Republican that I consider to be a "caring" or "compassionate' person. They are mean to the bone.

The "assumption" is that democrats and liberals think it's a good thing having his name on it. You'll change no ones mind on the other side which seems to be what the whole point of it is.

Is Ron Christie for real? I've never seen a more straightlaced man on TV before this.

I wonder how much it must eat at Ron Christie to know his name will forever be linked to the George W. Bush administration. Ouch that's gotta hurt.

For those of you who are ragging about Chappaquidick please give it a rest you weren't there and neither was I . It was forty years ago and it's time to move on. He did a lot of good in life for a lot of normal everyday folks.

It always seems to be the Christians who don't believe in redemption.
04:51 PM on 09/04/2009
As a Christian i believe in his redemption if it was asked for. Ted Kennedy was the first person to acknowledge his faults. Some are very serious character flaws and at least one morally reprehensible act that he will answer for. And he knew it. I know that he would be last last person to want his life to be called great. He was not a great man. He was a man with many faults who tried to do some good at the end of his life.
