House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled the health care reform bill that will head to the House floor amidst some of the tightest tensions that the Democratic caucus has seen all year. HuffPost's Ryan Grim discussed the flare-up on Democracy Now Thursday morning, along with the bill's prospects for success. He also explains why it makes perfect sense that Blue Dog Democrats would block the robust public option, tied to Medicare rates, in favor of one that will cost taxpayers more money. That extra $85 billion, he explains, is going where the Blue Dogs want it: insurers, hospitals, doctors, drug makers and other business interests in their districts.

Without a strong public option there is no real health care reform. This plan from what I have read really stinks.

I would strongly urge members of Congress who are not bought and paid for by the health insurance crooks to vote against this plan.
