This I had to add, "bitch may be the new black, but black is the new president bitch!"

It seems they've evened it out a bit this week (perhaps due to the criticism?)
good commentary on weekend update.
It helps a little bit that Tracy Morgan has is funnier than Tina Fey.

If bitch is the new black, hillary is black. Hillary will be president. How did you fail to understand this. As for Tracey Morgan being funnier, are you aware that most, if not all of Tracey Morgan's comedy sketches were written by either Tina Fey or the writing staff at SNL? Are you aware that the person who created the show he is currently on was none other than Tina Fey? So this would make Miss Tina his boss. So he isn't that dumb to lose his job over an Obama endorsement. Learn to read between the lines.

No one complains when they bash Bush. Certainly not me. They make barbed comments about what's going on. If they pick on my guy. Too bad. It's a frackin joke. If it doesn't resonate they will drop it. It has to have some intrinsic truth to be funny. That's why Dennis Miller has no career since he started standing up FOR authority.

Give me a break. Maybe you could give them the benefit of the doubt except for one fact, the fact that they gave Tina Fey air time to endorse Hillary Clinton. Once you allow someone on the show the ability to stump for a candidate, then everything else that bashes her opponent is seen through that lens. Just like Dennis Miller, once you start favoring a candidate, you lose your comedy credibility, and what might be seen as funny for the lampooning of a candidate, suddenly becomes an informercial.

Back when they had Obama on during Halloween, it was fine because it wasn't comprehensive. They didn't have 3 or 4 straight shows bashing Hillary, and no one had come out and said, "Hey, let's give Obama a chance. He's a great candidate. Criticism of him is unfair."

If SNL really doesn't have an axe to grind, where are the Hillary sketches? In the last month, she has come out with an exagerated account of her experience, had a love fest with McCain, the Ferraro debacle, the constant stream of Obama's on the ropes. All these are patently ridiculous and ripe for satire, as shown by The Daily Show and Colbert going after them. Where has SNL been?

For example, remember the Bush/Gore skits. They wee hysterical. They went after both candidates, and showed the frat boy Bush who did't know anything to the boring and sighing Al Gore, who couldn't believe he was getting his butt whipped by this moron. No one came out and said, "Hey, Gore's the man!" Both were being hit, and it was great.

The situation of Hillary having to answer the phone at 3 a.m., and its Obama, is a funny situation, but given even the appearance of impropriety, it comes off as partial towards Hillary and mean spirited. I'll believe SNL is legitimate when I see the first sketch that hammers Hillary for her foibles, and by foibles I don't mean, "Isn't it so funny she is just so competent."

One skit portrays a candidate as a stupid frat buy and the another portrays the other candidate as unbelieving that he is being beaten by the first? I do not see where they are both were being hit the same, do you?

You people should get lives and some jobs that pay so we do not have to be subjected to your ridiculous ramblings about how SNL is unfair to Obama. What are you a bunch of girly girls? The media has been bashing Hillary for months. Look at both the home page and political page on HuffPO and count how many articles bash her and how many bash him. Do the math. See for yourself. He is being given a magic carpet ride to the white house. Governor David Patterson should be our first black president! You see, there is someone spectacular and special that Oprah couldn't find first because she only looked for what was easy, not for what was right. If she had bothered, she would have found him and seen the real leader right here in New York State, a real man who know what it is to work twice as hard as both a minority and a person with a disability. This man understands the modern struggle in today's society. What does Obama really know about adversity? Absolutely nothing! Gov. Patterson knows everything about adversity. He has lived it and he has remarkably cast aside all negativity and become the wonderful man he is. I nominate Gov. David Paterson as our First Black President.! A man who stands for and with everyone!

Barack Obama himself is not offended, so forget about it.

A week before the Ohio/Texas vote Hillary launches a controversial claim that Obama hasn't passed the Commander-in-Chief test. The Saturday before those primaries SNL illustrates her point in a comedy sketch. Biased? YES! A valuable tool for the Hillary campaign? ABSOLUTELY! Fair? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Since the hilarious Garret Morris through Eddie Murphy to Chris Rock and later Tracy Morgan, SNL's legacy is casting one token black comedian. If SNL is an equal opportunity offender, why did the "red phone spoof" not spoof Hillary at all, but instead attempt to drive home its message even harder?

...and Tina Fey's angry editorializing for Hillary was unfunny, and that's the only crime in comedy television.

It is obvious that SNL is trying to promote Hillary and denigrate Obama. SNL let Hillary appear on the show two days for the most important primaries in the campaign for her, and let her give a specific shout-out to the voters in Texas and Ohio. Then SNL tried to drum up sympathy for her by raising a bogus charge of media bias against Clinton, plus you had Tina Fey's blatant shilling for Clinton. Worst of all, SNL has a white actor don blackface to portray Obama in the most offensive way possible, as either a monosyllabic idiot or a stereotypical buffoon, harkening back to "Birth of a Nation." And worst of all for them I'm sure, none of this was funny.

I think someone named "Mr. Whiskers" has just as much right to speak his mind, if not more, than the rest of us. But I also think the name and all that it implies demands that everyone else gets to go first.

Comedy is supposed to be a parody of life. In real life it's Obama who has been a cool customer and Senator Clinton who has had emotional fits along with Bill Clinton having emotional fits.

This doesn't mirror real life at all, it's blatant propaganda!

Although I agree that this is what SNL does. It is very obvious that the skits were completely biased. Not to mention Tina Fey with nostrils flared going "off the reservation" and giving Clinton a voice SHE didn't even possess.
As usual Obama rose above it and didn't bite. Not unlike Clinton's team crying "foul" at every opportunity. Stay tuned. In a year when Obama is President. SNL will have him on, smirk in hand.

SNL lost its edge years ago. Its a generational thing. SNL is the establishment and so I guess its only natural for them to kiss the ass of the establishment candidate. Putting Hillary forth as the under dog, given all her political machine, name recognition, massive advantage and front runner inevitable status going into this race, is ridiculous. I guess SNL is just trying to offset Obama's unfair advantage of being black. The thing is by repeating 30 sec bits of these skits over and over again on the cable news shows, its allows voters who are concerned about having a black candidate to see the image of a dumb, in over his head black man being reinforced. These people don't see the irony...irony simply goes over their heads. Thanks SNL...you got a few cheap laughs, and an increase in ratings in exchange for helping Hillary manipulate the truth and prolong a battle that's tearing apart the Democratic Party. So many of my friends have finally written your show off. Its a shame what can happen to people as they grow old.

Too many good things to do Saturday Night.
SNL died along time ago-the conservative bias has been there for awhile.
Most of the networks giving Hillary a free ride, are going to be going for McCain in the fall
But Murdoch and Time/Warner are hedging their bets. They can't lose with either of the two. Someone to keep monopolies intact and corporate sponsers happy is the goal.

Funny or not, it EXPOSED the OBAMANIACS, and made them, at least slightly, cover the campaigns with less disproportionality - a wee bit.

At least it's out there, and we are getting a little more scrutiny of Obama - his mentor/anti-American Pastor - which would have NEVER surfaced before this skit.

In a Democracy OPENNESS and FAIRNESS is KEY.

"Anti-american"? What party are you in, again?

I guess you didn't hear the screaming rants - I did.

Maybe, if they would post this video on the HUFFPOST like all the other videos it posts, you would hear it too.

But, of course that's not gonna happen.

They don't want anyone to hear it - their GOLDEN GUY would become tarnished

Far right pastors are going after some of the same people and blaming 9/11 on non-Christians,Katrina on gays. It's all very ugly.
Then there's McCain's pal(Hagee) and I'll raise you Hillary's Ferraro!

As a matter of fact Ferraro and Wright would be a wild couple!
