I turned this off after this and wrote an email telling them I was done watching this program. I was disgusted and when you called him on the truth he was arrogant and kept cutting you off. You were right on Roy! I noticed no one covered the Blumenthal story but I am down to watching only Countdown. I have had it with the MSM.

Just read the headlines here at HuffPost on any given day and tell me all of the Hillary bashing trivia represents the "real issues". The fact still remains that Mr Obama had Mr Wright as his pastor for 20 years. He married him, baptized his kids and has been a close family friend. You can not tell me he did not know what the reverend was saying. But I still think this is small compared to REZKO. His association with him and his deals and kickbacks are a bigger question about what Obama is all about. And do not give me the crap about the Clintons. Over 70million was spent by the Rebs trying to find something on the Clintons and all that was found was Bill getting a BJ from another adult, which btw only his wife should have had a problem with.
So you organize people on the streets (for what I am not clear) you go to Harvard, teach for a few years, you become a state Rep (60 days a year job) , write two books, then get elected to the senate in a breeze election, and you deceid to run for prez in a year. Tell me again why your really qualified. At least Bush was a two term Governor.

Assuming you have 52 weeks in a week, that means 52 sundays. Are you trying to say he went to church those 52 weeks of a year. Also have you put into consideration how old he was then? He was just 26 years old. So tell me how much damage would rezko do compared to Paul vs Clinton. I don't think Bush was any more qualified than Obama is (and I think Obama is horribly underqualified as well). Arguably, Bush had more "experience," but not from his being twice elected to the Texas governorship, a post that is largely ceremonial compared to most other states' governors. He did, however, have a lot of valuable experience from being close to the seat of power, in that his Dad had been a 2-term Veep and 1-term Prez (plus CIA Director). He (G.W.B.) held high positions in all of those campaigns, and was an "informal" advisor to his dad. That's similar to Hillary's political experience as Bill's wife, the operative difference being that Hillary actually has a brain, and has a lot of successful professional experience in her own right. If you're truly dumb as a post, all the "experience" in the world isn't gonna help much. The fact that Bush has now served two terms could arguably mean that he's now "very qualified" (certainly he's very "experienced")--but would you vote for him if he could run again? I also think your observations about Obama's personal and business relationships with these people are very relevant. The same types of inquiries have been made ad nauseum about Hillary Clinton (also arguably relevant) and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

The reason you don't hear anything about Rezko is because there is absolutely nothing illegal in his dealings with Obama. Rezko's legal problems related to matters that have no connection to Obama. It dramatically lifted the limits on how many media markets a single company could own and caused the consolidation that we now see. Having a free press is critical to a democracy, that legislation was one of the most un-democratic pieces in recent history. Take radio as an example, before the legislation a company was allowed to own no more than 40 stations. Now Clear Channel owns 1,200. Previously the limit for television stations was 12, now just five companies - Viacom, the parent of CBS, Disney, owner of ABC, News Corp, NBC and AOL, owner of Time Warner, now control 75 percent of all prime-time viewing. A 30 second commercial can have a lot of sway with consumers. Think of what hours and hours of programming can do to our perceptions.

I am very dissapointed with MSNBC because I thought that I could trust them to get to the issues already. Unfortunately, there must be more meat on the rev. Wright bone because they are still fighting over it.

Oh well, I will just have to watch something else everytime they talk about that and maybe switch back when they decide to get to the heart of the issue again.

I have an idea, why don't the MSM do a study on gas tax holiday and find out how much it is going to affect our lives. Like how much we will loss in terms of jobs, construction supplies, equipments and stuff like that. You know the everyday issues instead of gossip.
