ALRINGTON, Tenn. — Orthopedic device maker Wright Medical Group Inc. said Monday it named Lance A. Berry senior vice president and chief financial officer, replacing outgoing financial chief John K. Blakewell.

Blakewell will resign Dec. 11 to take a position at another company.

Berry joined Wright Medical in 2002 and worked as the company's vice president and corporate controller.

Shares of Wright Medical rose 80 cents, or 4.4 percent, to close at $18.89. The stock has traded between $11.17 and $22.99 over the last 52 weeks.
