CHICAGO — The Chicago Tribune has announced it will resume limited use of Journatic five months after the newspaper suspended use of the local news provider for plagiarism and fabricated material.

Journatic CEO Brian Timpone says the Chicago-based company has "carefully examined" its operations to make sure it delivers content with the "highest standards" of journalism.

Chicago Tribune Media Group President Vince Casanova says there were problems with the way Journatic was executed but now it will be "back on track."
