WILLARD, Ohio (AP) — Most families evacuated in northern Ohio after a train derailment and chemical spill have been allowed to return home.
About 425 homes were evacuated after Tuesday's derailment.
Most were told Thursday they can return home. A handful of residents of the homes closest to the derailment were facing a longer evacuation, possibly until Friday.
Gov. John Kasich (KAY'-sik) was briefed in Willard by officials and visited with evacuated families having a Thanksgiving dinner provided by the railroad.
