We got our Camry Hybrid about 6 weeks ago after a 3-month wait. People say the extra cost for the hybrid isn't worth it given the difference between the price of the car and the price of gas. I see this differently. I see our purchase as an investment in the future of our beautiful 15-month old granddaughter. We don't want our lifestyle to compromise that of our children and grandchildren. Besides that, it's really a nice car. And I just feel better driving a car that reduces fuel consumption and emissions. Finally, anything I can do to reduce our dependence on oil from Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East is a good thing.
