Dr. Ian Clarke
Dr. Clarke attended Queens University Belfast where he studied medicine and then worked as a family physician in Northern Ireland. He moved to Uganda with his family in 1988 where he set up a mission hospital in the Luweero Triangle, a place that had become known as the 'Killing Fields of Africa'.

Over the past 25 years he has worked in a faith-based hospital, in the private health sector and the public sector. He is the founder and CEO of International Medical Group. He is a citizen of Uganda and was elected Mayor of Makindye Division of Kampala in the last elections.
