A 22-year veteran of the New York Police Department, Johnson was the youngest person ever to pass the city's civil-service exam when he did so at age 16. Two years later, once he had reached the department's minimum service age, he began his highly decorated career as an undercover officer and, later, Johnson graduated from the FBI National Academy. As the Group Supervisor of a Federal Drug "Strike Force" (consisting of DEA, FBI, IRS, and ICE Agents) Johnson directly took on the major Drug Lords vying to take over our streets. Despite his extraordinary record and experiences in dangerous situations, he doesn't regard himself as any sort of hero -- his service, he notes, was just all in a day's work.
