Ida Hempel
Ida Hempel is passionate about connecting the dots that have not yet been connected in the energy industry. Ida previously served as the President of the Harvard Council on Business and the Environment, and is the founder and director of Greenhaus, an accelerator for energy start-ups in New England. In addition, she has worked with the executive teams of MIT Clean Energy Prize and Pure Energy Partners, a clean economy advisory group. Ida holds a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, and will be attending Stanford Graduate School of Business for a joint MBA-MS in Environment and Resources. In 2013, she was named by the Boston Globe as one of Boston’s “25 under 25” innovators.

These locales are not adjacent to Palo Alto -- they refer to newfound tech districts within Los Angeles, New York City, Austin and Philadelphia respectively, just some of the many that have recently emerged.
