I had the pleasure of interviewing young performer Brandon Spink. (You'll be able to read a more intense #actorslife interview with him soon at NYCastings.)

I didn't know what to expect, because, as you know, boys will be boys. I was so happy to find out that Brandon is a well grounded and polite young man who's just a regular guy.

If you call this regular... ;)

Brandon will be seen on the big screen as Billy in Miracles from Heaven co-starring Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah; the incredible true story based on author, Christy Beam's book 'Miracles From Heaven'. The Screen Gems drama releases March 18th.

Next up, Brandon will take on the role of young Bruce Wayne in Warner Bros. star studded film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zach Snyder. The action-packed film soars into theaters March 25th.

Later this spring, he is set to co-star in Open Road Film's Mother's Day, playing Jennifer Aniston and Timothy Olyphant's son, Peter. The romantic comedy by acclaimed director Garry Marshall, releases April 29th.

In addition to the big screen, Brandon will recur as Petey in NBC's upcoming one-hour drama Game of Silence.

How old are you and when is your birthday?

I am 11 years old and my birthday is June 1, 2004.

You're from Georgia and live with your parents and two younger brothers. How does your family balance your location shoots with their schedules?

It can be really tough at times for my parents; juggling all our activities, but we are lucky to have such great family and friends to help out when it gets really busy.

I LOVE your hair. At what point did you decide to let it grow out? Was it for a role?

When I was filming Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice, I was asked not to cut my hair in case they had to do a reshoot, so my hair got really long. I liked it, so I decided to keep it this length.

You recently started learning guitar. What made you choose that instrument?

I started learning the guitar because my character 'Peter' that I play in Mother's Day plays it. I decided to take lessons to help me with a scene in the movie and enjoyed it so much that I continued taking lessons.

You enjoy playing baseball. What position do you play? What's your favorite baseball team?

I really enjoy baseball, so when I am not acting you can find me at the batting cages. I play pitcher and second base for a travel team in the county that I live in. My favorite team of course is the Atlanta Braves.

Which video game systems do you have and what are your favorite video games?

I have Xbox One and my favorite game is Madden NFL 16.

What's the difference working on films vs. television series?

When working on television I feel the scenes are shot a lot faster than on films. Also, the character changes with each new movie, where your character remains the same shooting a TV series.

When you're just hanging out with your friends, what do you like to do?

My friends and I love playing football, video games and going to the movies.
