July 19 is National Daiquiri Day, and with sunny, hot weather sweeping the nation, we can't think of a better time to kick back with the classic Cuban cooler. And going beyond the traditional mix of white rum, fresh lime juice and sugar, bars around the U.S. are getting creative with adaptations that introduce innovative (and often unexpected) flavors like watermelon, basil and avocado. Here are five such Daiquiri variations.
