Irene Natividad is President of the Global Summit of Women, an international economic forum for women. She also runs her own public affairs firm, Globe Women, based in Washington, D.C. Ms. Natividad is a frequent commentator on PBS' 'To The Contrary', CNN, Good Morning America, Fox News, MSNBC, and other television news outlets. She has written editorials for USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and The Chicago Tribune.

In 1985, and again in 1987, Ms. Natividad was elected President of the National Women's Political Caucus. During the nineteen nineties, she served at the Chair of the National Commission on Working Women. In 1997 Ms. Natividad was named one of the “25 Most Influential Working Mothers” by Working Mother magazine. In 2004, she was named one of the “21 Leaders for the 21stCentury” by Women’s eNews.

As a native of the Philippines, Ms. Natividad is active in the Asian-American community and is passionate about Asian-American political empowerment. Ms. Natividad graduated from Long Island University in 1971. She resides outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband, Andrea Cortese.
