Each week, Faith in Action DC brings you interviews with faith leaders in the Washington, D.C. region speaking about how their faith calls them to work for social justice and serve their community in the nation's capital.
This week, Rabbi Bruce Lustig shares a lesson from the Passover story regarding the imperative to work for social justice for all God's children, and how young people in his community at Washington Hebrew Congregation are taking this to the next level.
Rabbi Bruce Lustig is senior rabbi at Washington Hebrew Congregation. He has also served on the D.C. Mayor's Faith Advisory Board, as the National Liaison for National Day of Prayer, and on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, District of Columbia Division. He is a leader in Washington's interfaith community and organized the nation's first Abrahamic Summit bringing together Christians, Jews and Muslims for dialogue.
