The home page of Fox News is showing an ad for a T-shirt company featuring two anorexic models. What a wonderful way to portray your feelings for your country. You can buy some wonderful shirts on this site with such slogans as "I'd rather be waterboarding" and "Obama 08, Osama 09"
Thank you Fox News for bringing us this wholesome sponsor. You can view the ad and some of the t-shirt slogans here

I'm with Jack - if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
Those girls are way too thin.
GOP extremists are dividing this country with hate and are assisted by fascist journalists reporting only a single view for the foreign owned Fox News who"s only interest is controlling American"s lives.
Jack, I know people with the same body shape as these models without being anorexic, and no doubt so do you: this is a physical type well within the 'normal' range for humans. If you're going to call them anorexic--the most fatal mental illeness--you'd damn well better have more reason than you've shown here.
I was scanning the Blogs here to get a feel for what each opinion has to offer since I am a newbie. And I was caught by the heading for this post. I will say that as a young woman who dealt with a (thankfully short bought) of Anorexia a few years ago that I am not surprised by these images/subliminal messages. Fox News caters to upper middle/upper class WASPS. I happen to be family to those and make my home in the Great Red State of Texas. There is a pressure to be thin, highlighted here, by these social circles. Plastic surgery and being "better" than your friends, family and neighbors is a common undercurrent in our society today. Sometimes it peeks its ugly head out from beneath its glittery sheath and I have seen it. I will tell all of the girls who are probably not reading this; Anorexia is an ugly and very private self deprecating illness. I probably would not be alive today if I had not lost some of my hair and tried to regain it back (unsuccessfully) by eating to get to a healthy weight. Our society is "sick" in so many ways and the proverbial wool is still being pulled over our eyes.
HAHAHAHA!!!!!
Anybody wearing those shirts right now would be laughed out of town!!!!!!!!
