Summer is finally here and with it comes the produce we've been waiting for all year long! Whether you are shopping your local farmers market or participating in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, these recipes will help you get creative with the best this bountiful season has to offer.

Farmer's Market Salad - With ingredients as fresh as homemade burrata, peaches, greens and heirloom tomatoes, simply put everything on a plate and let them shine.

Rhubarb Muffins with Oat Crumble - I made mine gluten-free with Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 flour but you can swap in regular flour for these muffins which are great as breakfast or a snack.

Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms - The oozing mozzarella mixed with salty pecorino and heat of the crushed red pepper are a perfect contrast to the crunchy texture of these edible flowers.

Shrimp Tacos - I often get an abundance of radishes and cabbage in my CSA. They are the perfect companions for healthy seafood tacos as they add great crunch and flavor.

Vegetable Tian - You may find different varieties of your favorite vegetables and herbs at the market, such as purple basil or japanese eggplant. Don't hesitate to pick them up and use in recipes as swaps for the traditional versions.

Charred Tomatillo Salsa - When I lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico, this condiment was put on the table at every meal. I ate it with eggs in the morning, on sandwiches in the afternoon and on top of tacos al pastor for dinner. You can use it to top Spinach Quesadillas or anything else you like.

Red Snapper with Roasted Tomatoes - Full disclosure: I used bacon fat to roast these tomatoes so the dish is not as healthy as it looks but it's worth it!

Yellow Plum Jam - If you participate in a CSA, you may get 50 yellow plums one week, like I did. Make this jam with local honey and rosemary.
