Dear Crawford Joe And Benedict Mike: Thanks For Nothing

Our country would be different right now if John Kerry was President. Our world would be different. Our future would be different. You betrayed that hope. You betrayed that possibility.

Like so many who gave so much in 2004 to try and help get John Kerry elected, I was shocked and dismayed to read Taylor Marsh's post this morning here on the Huffington Post where she detailed your dealings with potential business clients from the war room at Kerry Headquarters and with the Bush Campaign on the night of the election.

I had heard the rumors of you Joe, calling business prospects from the war room, telling them how bad the campaign was being run and how you were there to save the day. I hoped they weren't true. I know now they are.

I had also hoped it was just a coincidence so many of the Clinton folks on the Kerry Campaign flocked to New York City the Monday after the election for a strategy meeting. I gather now it wasn't.

There are thousands of people who gave their all to do everything they could to get John Kerry elected. People gave time, money, their lives to do everything they possibly could to help.

And then there are you two.

Taylor Marsh called you 'traitors' - I second that. And raise it one.

Our country would be different right now if John Kerry was President. Our world would be different. Our future would be different. You betrayed that hope. You betrayed that possibility.

I hope it was worth it.
