If It's Wednesday, Laurie and Sheryl Must Be In Baton Rouge

Laurie David and Sheryl Crow's STOP GLOBAL WARMING tour makes a stop in Baton Rouge tonight - having already conquered Texas with stops in Dallas and College Station. There are rumors of pajama parties and wine in water bottles on the tour bus, but other than that, or perhaps because of that, all is going well.

The even better news is that since the beginning of the tour more than 5,000 people a day have been signing up for the virtual march on Washington, D.C. Have you signed up? Kobe Bryant did. Take the time and add your name to the list.

I like to think it's all about the world's passion to address the global warming issue but I have a feeling the pictures of Sheryl have contributed a bit to the coverage as well.

Well, ExxonMobil's front groups attacked not only Laurie and Sheryl but ABC NEWS for their weatherman doing a segment on the tour - weathermen are usually safe from the politics of personal destruction but not this time. Huffington Post has over 500,000 readers a day. That means we can save $30,000,000 if each and every one of us replaces 3 light bulbs. Not to mention tons and tons of carbon dioxide. So that's on my to-do list for the day.
